Two Main Networks to Connect To: ComuneSiena WiFi and Free Italia WiFi
In Siena, there are two primary WiFi networks available for you to access:
1. ComuneSiena WiFi
The ComuneSiena WiFi network covers 18 access points throughout the city. To use it, you simply need to register using your mobile phone number. Here’s how it works:
- Registration: After selecting the network, enter your mobile phone number.
- Login credentials: You’ll receive an SMS with login credentials and a password to access the network.
- Browsing time: Once connected, you can browse the internet for free for up to three hours a day.
2. Free Italia WiFi
The Free Italia WiFi network provides 12 access points across the city and is another great option for free connectivity. You can access this network in two ways:
- SMS login: Similar to ComuneSiena WiFi, you can register using your mobile phone number and receive credentials via SMS.
- WiFi Italia app: Alternatively, you can download the official WiFi Italia app to connect to the network without needing to enter credentials each time.
