Discover the renowned cycle of the Allegoria ed Effetti del Buono e Cattivo Governo by Ambrogio Lorenzetti during Easter week! Guided tours of the Buongoverno construction site are once again available, offering an extraordinary opportunity to admire this masterpiece of Italian art.
Guided tours of the Buongoverno construction site return for the Easter holidays, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in art and history. The cycle of the Allegoria ed Effetti del Buono e Cattivo Governo by Ambrogio Lorenzetti, located in the Sala della Pace of the Civic Museum, will be open for visits from March 29th to April 4th. Thanks to the success of previous openings, it is now possible to once again admire this masterpiece directly from the scaffolding.
The cycle is currently the subject of a complex intervention project conducted by the Municipality of Siena in collaboration with the Superintendent of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the Provinces of Siena, Arezzo, and Grosseto. During breaks in the work, the public has the opportunity to access the scaffolding and enjoy a 360-degree view of the entire cycle.
