Guided Tours of the “Good Government” Restoration Site in Siena: A Unique Experience Starting June 1st
Until July 31st, visitors to the Civic Museum will have the opportunity to participate in exclusive guided tours of the fresco cycle “Allegoria ed effetti del Buono e del Cattivo Governo” byย ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ข๐จ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ข, located in the Palazzo Pubblico of Siena. This initiative allows participants to access the restoration site, offering a unique, up-close experience of these artworks in the process of conservation.
Details of the Guided Tours
The guided tours will be available every day, Monday through Sunday, with six daily slots scheduled at the following times: 10:30 AM, 11:15 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:45 PM, 3:30 PM, and 4:15 PM. Tours will be conducted in Italian, except for those at 10:30 AM, 11:15 AM, and 12:00 PM every Monday morning, which will be conducted in English. Each tour slot will accommodate a maximum of nine people and will last approximately thirty minutes, accompanied by a licensed tour guide whose fee is included in the admission ticket.
Ticket Information and Reservations
To participate in the guided tours of the “Good Government” restoration site, there is a single ticket price of โฌ21, which also includes entry to the Civic Museum of Siena. Reservations can be made through the Information Systems Service of the Municipality of Siena by sending an email to ticket@comune.siena.it. The reservation request must specify the number of participants, whether they are residents of the Municipality of Siena, a contact phone number, and the desired day for the visit. Alternatively, reservations can be made by phone from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 1 PM, by calling 0577/292614-15.
Reservations will be managed from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM and must be paid for in advance according to the instructions provided at the time of booking.
