Experience Christmas in Siena 2023by immersing yourself in art. Not only by discovering the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, of one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Italy, but also through installations and exhibitions that will enrich Siena for Christmas. Symbolic places of the city such as the Palazzo Pubblico or the Santa Maria della Scala Museum Complex will host, in fact, personal exhibitions and retrospectives of Italian artists while sculptures, nativity scenes and outdoor installations will come to life, as if by magic, in the streets of the centre.

Visit to the exhibition dedicated to the great artist and friend of Italo Calvino with a final workshop to learn about and play with the letters of the alphabet created by the artist. After seeing the works on display in the exhibition, in the practical part of the activity the children will try their hand at writing their name with lines, shapes and colors inspired by the artist’s sculptures.
